I usually do a manual redirect ... like for the l.o.n.g. amazon links...

I'll put something like http://www.twoscoops.com/rd/prepub.html   .  My /rd/
*.html webpages have a 1second redirect to the amazon link.   I do this with
ALL the URLS I put in Two Scoops so that I can see on my logs how many clicks I
got on that webpage.  I learned this from William Bontrager's WillMaster
Possibilities newsletter.

William Bontrager (WillMaster Possibilities) is the place to go for learning
about this...
http://www.willmaster.com    he's got LOADS of CGI stuff that will probably
help you immensely. he's a great guy, puts out a great newsletter with new
stuff every week.  I use several of his original scripts at Two Scoops, too
(including his MasterSubscribe script for people to subscribe from every page
on the Two Scoops website).   (No, I don't get paid for this endorsement!)
