Re: [epub] text to html
Yes, it renders just fine in both Netscape navigator and IE5.5
I have even uploaded files like this to my site at times and
it has not presented a problem. I don't usually have a need
to use this technique but have from time to time and it had
worked.

This is definitely NOT the way to do it! "Saving as" html from Notepad
merely changes the filename extension. It doesn't insert formating tags and
it will not render properly in any browser. Learn a little HTML so you can
hardcode your pages, and THEN you'll be able to work in Notepad effectively.

I would add that using the "Save as HTML" feature<?> of any major word
processing program (WordPerfect, Word, etc.) will render such bloated (and
sometimes invalid) code, you'd do better to hardcode it yourself, or find a
way to strip out extraneous code.
