[epub] Re: Reader Participation

Hi, EPUBers.
It must be spreading (lack of participation as the subscriber # 
grows...)to Q&A forums, as well. I started Affiliate Programs For 
Newbies (@eGroups.com) in January of this year. By the end of 
February, I had approx. 150 subscribers, and my co-moderator (Andy 
Brocklehurst) and I were answering between 3 to 5 posts a day.
Now, with 530 subscribers, I'm lucky to get 1 TRUE post (non ad 
promo...) per thread/topic! Which brings up another pet peeve of mine.
My forum states in it's description, welcome letter, and in all 
advertisments for the group, that it is a Q&A forum, ABSOLUTELY NO AD 
PROMOS, NO AUTORESPONDER ADDRESSES, etc., yet I am showered with ad 
promo requests, all day long! I'm imagining that somewhere along the 
line, I was put on "a list", which accounts for the relentless ads, 
but even my old subscribers, that used to be regular participants,
are silent.
