Jan,

Have you recently upgraded to Eudora 5?

If not, were you able to send and receive messages with Eudora 5?

Do you know if your hosting company has your incoming and outgoing 
mail on different machines?
ex. incoming (pop.domain.com) outgoing (mailout.domain.com)

If this is the case then there may be some sort of problem on the 
hosting company's end that would explain this problem.

Or this problem could be caused by your mailbox being full.
