After you reach the limit with the built in list editor, you can right 
click and select Add to Dist List and it will add it. I have managed a 
few lists with Pegasus, including a couple of 2000 or so. It worked 
fine for me until the ISPs started cracking down on how many 
emails you can send at once. Pegasus doesn't have a feature to 
break up a mailing into chunks. ISPs are making it very difficult for 
self managed lists because of the spam problem.
