Avril,

Congratulations on your publishing efforts paying off. Regarding your
question, I do know that Adobe has updated their program. You may
want to check and see if you have the latest version. The newest 
version eliminates some security issues. I'm not sure if it would take
care of your "c" problem. However, it's worth a try. 

You can also phone or email their customer support department. I've
done this on occation and they are very helpful.
