Re: [epub] How to send out a newsletter?
Hi Lou,

Just starting out eh? Good for you. I use Topica.com for my
newsletter at the moment. It's not too difficult to set it up.
However, if you have any problems and need a walk through
I have an article with the step by step information you can
use. I just have to dig it up. Recently I've changed my site. It's
in one of my back issues. :-)

Also, I want to warn you about Topica.com if you choose them.
They are really picky and can remove your list if it seems to be
on the lines of advertising. Just a warning.

If you have a website created, it's a good idea to archive your
issues. Many visitors on your website will snoop around and
enjoy reading past issues.

Make sure you place a link to your newsletter subscription
on every webpage. If or when you get some nice email letters
from your subscribers that read like a testimonial ask permission
to use them as such. I've never had anyone say no yet. ;-) They
are usually quite tickled.

Hm... don't want to overload you here... but one last thought.
Quality is always better than quantity. Many epublishers today
seem to think an ezine/ newsletter is an excuse to have 50%
or more content full of classified ads. Don't fall into that attitude.
A high quality newsletter will bring you much praise and joy
from happy subscribers.

That's enough of me, you enjoy your new adventure online and
we all wish you the best. :-)

Regards,
Chrisi Darrington
