Hi Ray --

Good questions.

~~ 1. Which is the better (more universally accessible) format:
~~ PDF? HTML?
~~ Some other proprietary or locked "e-book" format?

I prefer the PDF format and I've used both. PDF is far easier as
it integrates with Word. Click of the button and it can be done.
Since it's been around for awhile, many people already have
the reader so it makes the process easier for them.

~~ 3. When you sell your ebooks, are they emailed to the purchaser
~~ upon payment?
~~ a password/secure link set up so they can download at their leisure?

For my ebooklets, I advise the buyer that they'll receive the
link within 24 hours of purchase. Once the purchase is completed, they're
sent a password / secure link that is available to them for 48 hours after
purchase. I'm not thrilled with this process and am shopping options, but
it does work for now.

~~ 4. Do you allow your ebooks to be printable? Or must
~~ purchasers read them on the screen?

A resounding yes! People still like to touch and feel stuff they read. It's
real hard to get comfy and relax to read a book when you're sitting
at a computer. On top of that, I like to highlight key areas of books
and also use sticky notes to mark pages. I'm an avid reader and don't
believe the new eBook reader will ever make it to my household. Stuck
in the past on this one, I guess. Another issue is reading on a screen.
It's tough on the eyes --- and mine aren't as young as they used to be!
