Chris,
In all fairness, you do have some pretty powerful knowledge and you do use
some relatively expensive services to parlay your newsletter.

I too have been sending html newsletters for almost two years.
Yes, we send a text version to the aol, home etc folks.

I would not do without my html.
However, I am a one woman show with no budget for this.

Our newsletter is created in FrontPage (yes I know )
and we send through the paid version of Aureate Group Mail

I know that some folks get the html just fine but some receive it with some
html tags interspersed in the page and, every once in a while, I hear
someone has been receiving it blank for a long time. :-(

We don't sell ads (yes I know) so that is not a point of contention but I
would like to hear some of your thoughts(or anyone else's) on a better way
to do our html version. HMMMM?

Come up with a good argument why one should NOT use HTML mail; I've been
doing it for two years solid. If it was bad, I wouldn't be doing it. Tell ya
what? We've been getting ~7.0% CTR with text ads at the bottom of our HTML
issues. The text weekly, while lively, doesn't fare so well.
