Hi Chris,

I think most everyone loves a freebie of some kind, and some will sign up
just for the freebie! I try to offer freebies along the same lines of the
information in the newsletter. This way I don't lose them after they sign up
and have gotten the freebie. There are all kinds of free stuff across the
Internet to use for free giveaway purposes, particularly for ezine
administrators or web masters.

A little question considering offering really valuable prizes for
subscribing (of course on contest base).
Long ago I subscribed to one newsletter where you could win full Macromedia
Home Site when subscribing.
I subsribed and I won!! :-)

But this is not the point.

The point is - is  this solution good?

After this, I've started to browse the internet looking for newsletters
offerring similar prizes.
