[epub] SmartGroups.com: Rating system
Hi, EPUBers.

In an effort to improve the options available to my subscribers, I
swiched my HTML newsletter's host from GlobeClubs to SmartGroups.com.
For the most part, I am happy with the change, except for their "list
rating" system. The groups are given a "star" rating, from 0 to 5,
and I'm sure that it does guide potential subscribers to their
initial choices, if they are browsing. The problem is that the stars
are NOT based on the group's quality, popularity, content, etc., but
by the amount of posts! How ridiculous is that! An ad promo list gets
5 stars, a monthly newsletter, 0! No matter how good either of them
really are! I've e-mailed the support dept., but they have not given
me any satisfaction. What are your opinions?

Mike "his newsletter must be getting only 1 star" Merz
