Kent,

I went through this whole AOL thing with my ezines, since
many of my subscribers are on AOL too. I tried everything that has
been suggested, but got some complaints from AOL members no
matter what I did. I already archived my ezines on my website (A great
way to attract traffic and please the search engines with more
content, by the way.) so I finally put a link at the top of the
ezines to the online version and quit trying to make the links
clickable for AOL members. I haven't had a single complaint or unsubscribe
since, and it has been about 6 months.

I set up an AOL Users' Links section at the end of my ezine,
and,
thanks to your kind advice, coded every link in tomorrow's
issue
for them. Lots of work!

Then I looked at it for a while, hated it, and trashed the
whole
thing.
