In the beginning it is exciting to get a new sub notice and disconcerting to have someone leave. But when you start getting 5-10 plus subs, unsubs a day - ehhh, who cares - so then you can turn it off. If you are going to use Yahoogroups simply as a mechanism to track subs, unsubs, and deliver your ezine - damn good. but if you want to use other features (chat room, shared files, read back issues) - where your members have to go to the site it is damn difficult with the Yahoo ID requirement. I was with ONElist. Great! Then eGroups took them over. Okay. Now Yahoogroups requires you to somehow register again with them (Unlike most places, with Yahoogroups using your email address isn't good enough - you have to register with something else (in addition to email address) called an Yahoo ID - some new damn name AND a password on top of that confusing as hell). I never send my subscribers to the site, I only give them email option to subscribe and unsubscribe (or, more often I direct them to my web site page with Willmaster' sub form - To subscribe visit http://www.HumorMall.com/survey/subscribe.shtml best thing I ever did) so I have avoided that Yahoo ID garbage for my subscribers. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Cantu says, "Tom Antion's no techie; he's a personal friend; and he generates over a $1000 a day from his web site selling his real products - speaker products (not just 'Make Money on the Web' products) http://www.antion.com/t.cgi/102055/buttcamp.htm /////////////////////////////\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ "I use Imakenews.com and it has really increased our company's revenue base!
