The terms tend to be used rather loosely, often interchangeably, but I would
define the mailing list as any list of names used to circulate information.
Your address book is your mailing list.

An ezine is an internet based magazine and is usually published on a
website, sometimes having copies distributed to readers via email (using a
mailing list).

A newsletter is used to distribute news to those on the mailing list,
interested in receiving the latest news relating to that site.  For instance
a site offering free training courses may have a newsletter in which they
would announce the latest courses on offer.
