[epub] Newsletter- should I offer for free?

I am wondering if I should offer my newsletter for free - I guess a 
lot of companies do, but with the amount of work that goes into one, 
you would think that payment would be expected. 

What does everyone else do?  Do you tie in another "product or 
service" with your newsletter?  

I'd like to visit some of your sites and see your newsletters. If 
anyone is willing to be a mentor, I would greatly appreciate it.
