Hi, Tombo... jumping into the middle of this conversation,
I'd just like to say that this is NOT the only reason for
publishing an ezine. A great one, yes, and one that is used
often. I've published for this reason myself for many
months. But to suggest that it's the only reason is to miss
out on a potential for profit for your business. There are
many formerly-free-ezine publishers going to the paid model
who seem very pleased with the results. I haven't gone that
direction myself, yet, though I've toyed with the idea. But
again, the point is that paid-subscription ezines are a real
and viable option for online publishers.
