Hi Nancy.

There are a number of different types of pop-ups. You can have ones that
open each time the page is visited (this can be annoying to you visitor),
other ones that pop-under the current (trigger) window, and finally ones
that only open once per visitor in a pre-defined time period.

The code for the latter can be found at a few different free script sources.
In general, I would recommend http://www.hotscripts.com as it has a very
large database of scripts. For your particular needs, try the Javascript
Source (http://javascript.internet.com/).

Here is the URL to the pop up once script. It has complete and easy to
understand instructions.
http://javascript.internet.com/cookies/only-popup-once.html

Hope that helps.

Kind regards,

Bob Gunther
