Dear Nancy, 

I have used Topica for about 2 years with much success for our monthly 
publication...Tricia's Tips - Advertising Specialty News.  However, I was 
initially concerned about control of my subscribers so I did not add their 
Sub box to my pages. 

Instead, I had a custom subscribe form created.  It's been beneficial to us 
in that we know exactly how many subs we are receiving on any given day.  At 
the end of each day, we add the subscription requests to Topica through the 
"Bulk Add" section in "My Topica" under "add subscribers."  We never have to 
worry about removes or duplicates because Topica checks them against the list 
and sends a confirmation e-mail once the additions are complete. 

In addition, this method allows us immediate stats on the success or failure 
of an article/ad published in another e-zine. 

To solve your problem, I would contact Topica through the "Help" link in "My 
Topica" or e-mail them at support@get.topica.com.
