We've been very successful at signing up subaffiliates and we now have over 
120,000 newsletter subscribers.  I suggest doing it as cheap as possible to 
build your credibility and to get more members to join.  You need to build 
your list beyond a few hundred members before you can really make any money 
marketing it.  We all start from scratch, so GOOD LUCK!
