Hi all.

I'm sure this conventional thinking has many people nodding in agreement.
I followed the same advice, before deciding to act on someone's suggestion
to just "go for it" and see what the market will stand.

To my surprise, I sold top spot ads for $40 each, when I had 1750 to 2000
subscribers - a CPM of close to $20. Ad affiliate programs were offering to
sell my ad inventory for CPM of $1 to $2 at the time !!!

The lesson I learned: There is no logic or rationale to ad pricing on ezines.
Test out your market - you just might be pleasantly surprised.
