I started using a cool, easy to install program called
Subscribe-me Lite. You put it on your site and it
handles your subscribes and unsubs and lets you send
out your own stuff. You have full control. Of course,
you either have to know some basic cgi or have it done
for you. And it has a small one line advert for itself
in your emails. There is also a pro version.
