Michael,

You are not alone. I just got finished sending out the third issue of my newsletter, "The Creative Marketer", going to only 297 people. 

What you need to understand, is that you should not be thinking so much about "I'm doing all this for ONLY 48 subscribers." These 48 subscribers could be forwarding your newsletter to their friends and business associates. They could be subscribing, and recommending their friends as well.

And -- with regards to the fear of pressing the send button -- that is normal. However, I have found that what you fear is drawn to you. If you are paralyzed by the fear of sending out the newsletter with mistakes, then proofread - proofread - proofread. And, remember to always write in your own distinctive style. This will make you stand out from the rest.

I spend over ten hours a week writing and proofreading my newsletter. About three of those is spent writing, and the rest proofreading. So, if you really put all you've got into it -- and have a strong faith in your own incredible abilities, you will succeed. Your readers will feel that...
