Speaking for myself and most of the people I know, with all of the ongoing
viruses going around I am surprized anyone is opening attachments from
anyone, Amanda.

I got two viruses from my subscribers by letting them send articles that way
and now will not open ANY, no matter who they are from.

You are right on the BCC part, with only 8 subs you should be able to just
paste a copy of your issue into an email message and BCC the members, but as
your list grows you will not be able to manage it that way.

I suggest you try the free trial of the list management/mailing software I
use for Rim Digest, which manages subscribes, unsubscribes, generates the
code for your web site to have a sign up box, etc. and sends mine out to
5600+ subs:
 http://www.add2it.com/ref/track.cgi?id=jtd&pid=5

and lets you choose to send in plain text, which most people prefer, or html
AND you can send them out personalized or not.

best of luck with your new venture and we all make mistakes and it is always
best to make the scariest ones early before you do it with thousands of subs,
