  For AOL, it all depends on which version a person is using.

  If they are using 6.0 or higher (7.0 is in beta right now) , they will be 
able to read your html with no problem.

  However, then you have people like me who HATE 6.0 because it automatically 
sends ALL email in rich text (.rtx) format with NO OPTION to use a plain text 
(.txt) email.

  So.. for those of us who use 5.0 or lower - your mail will have a lot of 
extraneous characters.

  I suggest if you really feel the need to use html, your first line should 
be a link to a website where non html views can easily read the message if 
they choose to.
