Got an Ezine Marketing |
EPUB Archives [Thread Prev][Thread Next][Thread]Re: [epub] Is ezine link clickability really a big deal?
<< If it's clickable for AOL users its messy and ugly (full of HTML coding) for others, such as outlook users. I know there must be away to please all but, I can't seem to find it on my own. >> Hi, We have found that the only way to get AOL users to see the proper links is to send our ezine out to the AOL users using an AOL account. Luckily our ezines only have about 5% of the subscribers using AOL so we can just make a separate email message for them. We did have to notify AOL of this because each time we would send out the large volume of mail, they would cut us off without questions, assuming it was spam. But now all is OK and we have been "red flagged" to go ahead with our mailings. We just changed our ezines to HTML format only, where readers have to read the ezines by clicking one link and then everyone will see the same image on line and there isn't need to go through the AOL trouble anymore, except for the one link leading them to the ezine on line.
