Got an Ezine Marketing |
EPUB Archives [Thread Prev][Thread Next][Thread]Re: [epub] ON - Line eZines vs. Email versions
I had to agree with John. We receive bounce backs from all the free email accounts like Yahoo and Hotmail. People who subscribe under these accounts aren't serious about receiving ezines. They subscribe on a whim. We delete them on the first bounce. We don't have time for their selfish games. Unless you have your email address listed in ezines for some reason or other, there is no way you are going to receive spam. The whole purpose of the ezine is to have an opt-in way for the publisher to send you the ezine which is the only purpose of the publisher. Publishers of ezines are not trying to harvest email addresses. They actually have a product to publish. If you don't think Yahoo and Hotmail have an ulterior motive for free email accounts, well then keep using them.
