I agree that there is no technological reason why an html
message and a html web page are any different. Part of my
objection and observation, is a psychological factor. Based
on information that there are risks, but the general public
do not have enough knowledge to discern, they will
generalise and believe that if it comes by email it is more
likely to be a danger. And, I believe that is true in the
main, unless you make a habit of hanging around porn sites,
hacker sites and the ilk.

Far from being logical, I think you are merely trying to
justify your own point of view. Those often differ between
people, you know. I'm just giving you an example of what,
from my experience as a publisher for over 2 1/2 years, I
believe to be the level of general perception and why it
makes the html attachment unattractive. Please try not to
shout or ask questions that I will take as personal in this
discussion forum.
