Yes, it does work in AOL if you do it in HTML, eg. < a href="http://www.3r-marketing.com/">AOL Users Click Here</a> And one or other version (http://www.3r-marketing.com) works in most web based browsers.

That covers probably 99% of the Internet population. 

I'm sorry if I was not clearer in my earlier post. I was including the AOL variation in my explanation.
