Please refer to my earlier post. I *never* said make only one edition 
public :-)
That would certainly be a big mistake.

If you've been publishing for a while now, I'm sure you would have a
good number of editions to let remain public. Use all of them as your
samples.

Of my 30 editions ever published, 28 are still publicly viewable.

As I mentioned in my earlier email, only from edition 29, I have
made my archives 'Subscriber Only'.

So, if my prospective subscriber does not subscribe even after reading
28 editions of my newsletter, then I guess he never will :-)

Nope! Fortunately, my unsubscription rate has always remained extremely low.
And the trend still continues!
