[epub] Worldwidelists

Has anyone who uses Worldwide lists had problems with subscribers who
SWEAR they didn't subscribe to your list?  Twice in the past few days
I've gotten unsub demands shortly after they get the welcome letter
from me.  Now since I use and pay for the double opt-in system on WWL
and I add the new subscribers within a few minutes (in almost all
cases) of getting the list of subscription requests, I don't know how
this is possible.  Didn't they first request confirmation to my ezine
(the description is the same one I've used for years and still
describes Homefires Hearth to a tee) and then didn't they confirm
again that they wanted to receive my zine?  So why get upset when I
subscribe them?

BTW - except for them sending a few current subscribers my way each
week and the above problem, I'm delighted with them even if I do have
to pay.  I've gotten over 300 subscribers in August, the vast majority
of which have stayed with me.
