Long experience in bricks and mortar publishing has taught
me that one has to be very careful using one's home address
in business. There are lots of people out there who seem to
think that because you run a business from home, your
residence is likely to be one worth robbing.
True, you must have good contact details. As well as your
email, have a phone and fax contact. Then add a snail mail
address, which can be a PO Box.
Obviously this is not effective if you need to have people
call at your premises. However, if you are working
exclusively on line, I would be very wary about including a
residential address.
