Re: [epub] Webpage design
<< I just have a question. I've been working on my site for a couple of weeks
now and I hit sort of a snag. My husband saw the site that I was working on
and got upset because I put our home address on it. What I wanted to know
was how important is it anyway to put your address on your website? I'm
trying to make the best impression as a professional and was told that it
was a major issue as far as credibility is concerned. What do you feel
 about this? >>

We just ran a story on having your address and phone number prominent.
People will not do business with anonymous web sites. They feel comfortable
seeing the name and address but rarely use them.

Does your husband expect visitors because you posted your address?
Unless you are running a local business, it is very unlikely that local people
will even see your site. Most will be from the web from all over the world,
mostly the U.S. and most will feel at ease doing business with you if you
have nothing to hide.
