That's been exactly my experience too. I anticipated getting more junk mail
when I put so much personal info online, (I don't mind junk mail though.
Spam is irritating however, because it eats my precious time deleting it.)
but even that hasn't happened.

I have gotten several Web design jobs from people who telephoned me on a
whim after seeing my phone number on the site.
