I'm still undecided on that issue.

Chris Pirillo, publisher of the highly successful Lockergnome Newletter
would take issue with your statements.  His advice is to send out HTML
and link back to a site for ASCII text.  On his newsletter, there is a
"fronter" which is visible only to non-HTML enabled email programs
with the link info in place.

Just my 2 cents worth.
