Hi Joe,
Regarding your question posted to E-pubs. You do need a website
to tell people about your book.  Aside from that you need someway
to process credit card orders.  Perhaps the cheapest way is to use
ClickBank.  Many merchant account providers charge a large 
upfront free but Clickbank doesn't. The drawback though is that
they charger a higher per transaction fee than a traditional 
merchant account.  I have used both systems.  I went with 
Clickbank at first because I wasn't sure how much product I could 
sell.  Once I verified a demand for my product, I went with the 
traditional merchant account.
