contact of the domain:

I think you would gain more respect on this list
and with all business dealings if you simply say:

"Hey, we started or are affiliated with this great
company that features .... "

As with all relationships, honesty and clear, upfront
communication is important. Your posting wasn't very
clear about your connection with the company, which
I am certain wasn't intentional -- but comes across
to some (at least myself) as a big ol' red flag.
