This isn't always such a great idea.  Many people prefer to read 
their email off line, particularly newsletters.  If they have dial 
up access (which most still do) those graphics links can force 
their email client to try and connect.to the Internet. It's always 
best to consider the needs and desires of your subscribers first 
when considering format and delivery options IMO.
