Hmmm... just curious here... I viewed your source at your
homepage (as instructed at the link above)...

Shouldn't the actual link text be encoded also? I mean, I am no
expert on spambots (although I bet I could build one, I choose to
use my powers for good), but isn't it possible that the criteria
an email address is not solely based on having mailto: before it?

Just a tangent really.

Oh, also, I might point out that if an email address can be
encoded it can also be decoded by a spambot. I could create
a Perl script that would visit your page, look for the mailto:
grab the encoded email and then decode it using the reverse
process.

I can think of a few ways to encode an email address a
little more securely. (of course, I won't discuss that
here :) )

Just remember, if there is a way to encode an email
address, then there is a way to decode it! The key is
to make decoding as difficult and annoying as possible! :)

Okay, back to Debbie's problem...

I think Debbie is having problems with some
kind of script actually reading her welcome emails
and issues and grabbing the email addresses.
My only suggestion is to put up a link to the
contact form(s) for each individual (as Ravi suggested).
Just remember to keep the email addresses out of the
code. I always try to keep my addresses only on
the server side in the processing page only. (just
to be safe) Use codes (such as: "admin" or "advertising")
related to each address in the actual form and then
have the processing page insert the appropriate address.
