Hi Janet. Thanks for the note. I'm aware that you're just back from vacation, and are probably not at all responsible for the error in judgement that is the cause of this storm. A small clarification: > >decided to let some of the messages in the Dr. Mani/Tombo >dispute go through because they did relate to legitimate I wasn't aware of any *dispute* - I made a post and was quite rudely attacked as to my need to learn etiquette. As far as the issue of *spamming the list* is concerned, I am quite willing to enter into a discussion. But what I felt intolerable was the level of personal insult to which the respondent to my post stooped. And my grouse with the moderation of the list is that such a response was allowed to be distributed to the entire list. I'm aware that without your diligent watchfulness, many more of this sort would sneak through and dilute the value of this excellent resource for e-publishers. You and the other moderators are doubtless doing a great job, one which is hardly appreciated by the majority of participants, most of whom have never taken on the thankless job of moderating an active discussion forum. But then, all it takes to destroy a glass house is one stone! Thanks again for the response, Janet.
