I can spot spam a mile off.. I download my messages with
preview off (actually for virus's) I do my rule delete off
server.. or quicker.. block address .. though that means I
still download it but it goes straight to the deleted bin...
those I'm not sure of I click the email to select right
click and choose properties and view the message via message
source... if confirmed a spam it gets the treatment..

I also configure oe to rule that all mail with attachments
are coloured red... so they can be easily spotted the paper
clip does not always show up...

I also where possible have all my ezines in text only and
send in text only.. I have to really like the ezine to put
up with downloading html.

Only when I'm sure do I open an email and I have Norton
running all the time and each time I go on the net I click
update... I've lost count of the klez emails this pass
week...

just thought I would share my email habits in case there is
something in there that helps:)
