EPUB Archives [Thread Prev][Thread Next][Thread][epub] Re: Getting Permission for an article
James / Dawn, Thanks for the vote of confidence. I don't feel guilty at all nor am I opposed to writing the article myself. I've written plenty! Just that when I see something that "fits", I figure why not ask for permission. I didn't always use other's writings when I taught... however, I started getting comments at my class about highlighting your business too much (when everything I used was written by me. When I started using articles, say by other coaches (with permission of course) that stopped. I did write back to Amex, although I'll be suprised if I hear back from them. I asked them about who wrote the article, if they had first rights on it, if they'd forward my request to use the article to the author, etc. I'm going to do some detective work on the Internet to see if I can find other copies of it. Sometimes I've been able to find the original author using google and a search for 'words' used in the article itself. Maria Maria Marsala Business and Life Coach-Consultant P.S.
