[epub] Re: Accused of Spam

Hi David,

I had a similar experience.  Someone had requested one of my articles from
my autoresponder and then when he got it, he reported me for spamming.  I
got a call from my mail server telling me they were going to immediately
close my account.  I spent a good 20 minutes trying to explain what the deal
was.  He finally agreed not to immediately close my account and check it
out. Luckily nothing more came of it!

I couldn't believe someone who had requested the article would do that.  The
articles come immediately so he couldn't have "forgotten" that he requested
it.

The world is full of them.  I guess you can't avoid them, but handle the
problem professionally.  Do not sink to their level and things will more
than likely work out for the best!!
