Hi Janet;

I wrote about that in my newsletter at:
http://internetmarketing-101.net/newsletter04042003.htm

In the article I describe the system I use as below:

"1. Subscribe to 2-3 new newsletters depending upon your reading habits and ability to read and digest them. Now, each week for three weeks, read each one through and note just how much the writer gives you original or helpful content that relates to your business.

2. Rate each one to see how it stacks up. This way you have a comparison system to compare them. This should be your own system based on what is most important to you in benefits to receive from the newsletter.

If you don't like classified ads then deduct for that. If you don't mind them and if the newsletter has great content then allow for that in your rating system. Just develop a system that works best for you.

3. After 3 weeks you should have a good feel for each newsletter. Drop the ones that aren't delivering what you want. Keep the one or ones that you like. Then start all over again. Pick 2-3 more and restart the process.

Why? Because you are optimizing your reading time and the newsletters coming into your email box will be those that you will truly read and derive solid information from that keeps you reading them each issue."

Hope this is on topic.

Thanks;
Gary Knuckles
