Got an Ezine Marketing |
EPUB Archives [Thread Prev][Thread Next][Thread][epub] Re: Need input for best practices
Janet, I think the idea of providing quality content is being lost with the ever more persistent and time-consuming requirements of dealing with spam-related subscription and delivery problems. Unfortunate though it is, I agree with Will. I just posted this to iBlog, Adventive's new forum (or rather Up2Speed's, it's renamed after Andy Bourland bought the Audettes out) The *single* overarching benefit I'm beginning to see in blogs versus ezines is the fact that there is an increasing percentage of emailed issues of my newsletter being returned as either undeliverable or requiring me to verify my identity through spa m blocking services. Even the art of crafting an ezine issue to pass through pre- set anti-s pam filters is beginning to drive me slowly crazy. All the benefits of an email newsletter kick in *only* after the ezine is delivered to the reader, and then opened and read. That's the area I believe blogs will run circles around ezines in the future. Scarily, the very near future!
