Hi Janet & List-Mates,

Nothing will ever REPLACE eMail, but many things will enhance it
and complement it, and just like the Online Forums that send eMail
notifications when there is a new post, so you can go back and
visit the Website, so too will Blogs complement our eMail, but not
ever replace it.

If people are given the choice between a Blog or eMail for
receiving their daily news and information, we believe that no one
would choose a Blog, not WITHOUT at least receiving an eMail note
saying to come visit the Blog, that is.

Totally agree!

Truer words were never spoken, Janet.

With so MANY "voices" all calling for our attention each day, this
is how it is for us as well. We belong to many Online forums, but
won't visit every one of them every day, but we will visit one as
soon as we get that "audio message" on our sound system that we
have wired throughout the house that alerts us to a new forum post.

Blogs are good and can be very useful if a viable campaign can be
built around one or several, but you still need eMail to notify
folks of new messages.

Just our 2 cents' worth.
