Glad you've had good luck with TrendMicro, but I wouldn't use them if
their product were free.

The details are too technical, but about 5 years ago their virus
checker, which was included free on the new office PCs we got, decided
the correct solution to detecting a macro virus in one of my critical
files was to strip ALL of the macros out of the workbook (without asking
first). The disaster that resulted was caused by a number of factors,
not all of which were related to the Trend product, but their virus
checker's poor functionality and accuracy was mostly to blame IMO. I
have no doubt their products are more sophisticated now, but the
experience was bad enough that I stick with Norton or McAfee.
