[epub] Mystery solved ALSO: RSS?

I'm sorry to be sending so many list-management notes out, but the mystery 
appears to be solved. Naturally, a spammer is at the heart of it. I'm sorry 
we didn't catch it before now, but we appear to have found the offending 
address and have removed and banned it. Back to your regular programming. 
Sigh.

These are the days I can see the sense for RSS. What does anybody else 
think of this idea, to move to direct feeds instead of sending via email? 
Anybody adding an RSS feed to their publishing empires?

I think it's really handy as a complement to but not a supplement for 
email. However, that puts me squarely in the old-fart camp according to 
some of its most ardent advocates, who seem to think anybody who argues for 
email over RSS is just stupid. Or FUD, whatever that means, although I can 
guess, and it ain't a compliment.
