Good point Jade, but...

What percent of AOL's 25.3 million users do you'all think will actually
be a potential subscriber of yours? I'm sure you know that not all of
AOL's members are interested in lets say cooking or a home business,
to name a couple of topics that your ezine may cover.

We, as ezine and list publishers have to ask ourselves...are the people
we want to reach AOL users? My answer is no, because I want to
reach advanced internet users. I have nothing against AOL users, I just
know that the people I want for subscribers don't use AOL for many
reasons of their own. 

BTW, I have under 100 subscribers and my ezine brings in enough
for me and my family to live on, so you don't need to have thousands
or millions of subscribers to have a successful ezine.

In closing...It's not the number of subscribers you have, it's what
your subscribers will get out of being a subscriber that will have an 
effect on how well your ezine or list does.
