Though I would post it for all the aol bashers :)

33.5 million AOL email users worldwide. 6.2 million in Europe,
and I do agree that an AOL pop up would be foolish

One thing to consider, the new AOL 9.0 has the 
"Report Spam" button right next to the "Delete" button
in their new email system.
