[epub] Re: A O L Not welcome.
Switching ISPs is often avoided by some because it can be a lot of trouble.
Some of us who have had AOL for more than 10 years also have more than 10
years worth of email archives, which we need to be able to readily access when we
have been running businesses online for many years. For that reason I have
not only kept AOL, but also kept one of my screen names (sudanym) the same for
all this time. The AOL 'filing cabinet' for email is very user-friendly,
easily sortable and searchable. Now that I have cable modem, the AOL BYOA rates
along with the previously stated advantages make AOL worth keeping. Although I
have had other ISPs, none of the email clients that I had to use for them were
as user-friendly as the AOL one is.
